1. A surgical method, comprising:
rotating a cannulated suture anchor into bone, a suture having a first length extending inside the suture anchor with the suture extending out an open proximal end of the suture anchor and out an open distal end of the suture anchor, and the suture having a second length extending outside the suture anchor;
wherein the rotation causes the second length of the suture to helically wrap around the suture anchor, be seated within a groove formed in an exterior surface of the suture anchor, and be compressed between the suture anchor and a wall of the bone.
