1. A method for selecting a communication channel in a wireless communication network comprising a backhaul network interconnecting node devices and intended to extend a radio coverage of a wireless fronthaul network by using a plurality of access points of the wireless fronthaul network, wherein a same first communication channel, selected by a master node device of the backhaul network, is used in the backhaul network to interconnect said node devices, wherein the method causes each node device of the backhaul network to perform:
making an evaluation of transmission conditions of its radio environment, and
calculating, for each communication channel available to said node device, a score representing a quality of transmission via said node device according to the evaluation made, and
wherein, when, from the point of view of a said node device of the backhaul network, at least one second communication channel shows a better score than the first communication channel, the method causing the master node device to perform:
obtaining, from each node device of the backhaul network, the score of the first communication channel and the score of at least one said second communication channel, to make an evaluation of change of communication channel; and
deciding to change, or not, communication channel used in the backhaul network, according to the scores obtained.
