1. A system comprising:
a computer processor; and
memory storing instructions that are executable by the computer processor to:
execute a first parent action flow comprising a first plurality of steps which correspond to distinct pages of a web application;
obtain, during execution of the first parent action flow, a first action flow fragment expression comprising a function;
execute the first action flow fragment expression, including:
selecting a first action flow fragment from a plurality of action flow fragments; and
transferring control from a first parent output control point of the first parent action flow to a first fragment input control point of first action flow fragment, to initiate execution of the first action flow fragment, the first action flow fragment configured to return control, via a first fragment output control point, to a first parent input control point of the first parent action flow, upon completion of execution of the first action flow fragment.
