1. A method for sign-in using a digital identity, the method comprising:
transmitting, by a relying party application, a sign-in request for a user of a user device to an identity network;
receiving, by the relying party application, a session identifier from the identity network;
launching, by the relying party application, an identity provider application for a selected identity provider;
providing, by the relying party application, the session identifier to the identity provider application;
receiving, by the relying party application, a sign-in result and validation information from the identity network; and
determining, by the relying party application, whether to sign in the user to the relying party application based on one or both of the sign-in result and the validation information.
