1. An integrated circuit for a radio base station, the integrated circuit comprising:
processing circuitry, which, in operation, generates an uplink scheduling assignment indicating uplink radio resources usable by a user equipment;
wherein the user equipment is configured with at least one numerology scheme, each of which is associated with parameters that partition time-frequency radio resources into resource scheduling units in a different manner, and wherein the user equipment is configured with logical channels each of which is associated with at least one of the configured numerology scheme(s);
transmitting circuitry, which, in operation, transmits the uplink scheduling assignment to the user equipment;
wherein the user equipment, based on the uplink scheduling assignment, determines a numerology scheme out of the configured numerology scheme(s), and performs a logical channel prioritization procedure by allocating the assigned uplink radio resources to the configured logical channels and by prioritizing those of the configured logical channels that are associated with the determined numerology scheme; and
receiving circuitry, which, in operation, receives a common buffer status report from the user equipment, wherein the common buffer status report separately indicates a buffer status of each logical channel group (LCG), wherein the logical channels associated with each of the configured numerology scheme(s) are grouped into one or more LCGs.
