1. A system, comprising:
a transcoded rendition datastore; and
a transcode coordinator service, configured to:
receive an indication of a source content;
generate a source content unique identifier (SCID) representative of the source content;
provide a request, to a media transcoder service, to transcode the source content;
in response to providing the request to transcode the source content, receive a manifest of a transcoded rendition of the source content;
create an association between the manifest and the SCID; and
store the association in the transcoded rendition datastore.
