1. A method comprising:
identifying, by a network device, an Internet Protocol (IP) address of a device of a user, the IP address associated with a network connection enabling a streaming session with a streaming provider;
determining, by the network device, based on the IP address, identity information of the user and location information of the device;
determining, by the network device, a designated market area (DMA) for the device based on the identity information and the location information, the DMA being associated with a geographic area for which content from the streaming provider is accessible;
determining, by the network device, that the IP address for the device has changed, the changed IP address determination based on input related to a determination that the location information has changed;
verifying, by the network device, that the streaming session corresponds to the DMA based on the changed IP address and DMA, the verification enabling the content to be accessed by the device of the user; and
causing, by the network device, the content to be streamed to the device of the user in accordance with the verified streaming session.
