1. An apparatus with a magnetic arrangement comprising:
a lower planer surface;
an upper planar surface substantially parallel to and separated by a clearance from said lower planer surface;
each top surface of a first plurality of magnets is positioned adjacent to each successive one on said lower planar surface and positioned such that a center of said top surfaces forms a line,
wherein
said adjacent magnets are spaced apart by a distance less than said dimension of said face of said magnet, wherein
said line has a first end and a second end, and wherein
said line formed by said placement of said magnets is a straight line, a curved line, and/or a combination of straight and curve line segments forming a continuous path; and
a bottom surface of a second plurality of magnets positioned on said upper planar surface substantially aligned over a corresponding magnet from said first plurality of magnets, wherein
all magnets are axially magnetized and have their magnetic moments aligned in a first direction,
and wherein said arrangement is configured to convert a potential energy into a kinetic energy.
