1. An apparatus comprising:
an image sensor to provide image sensor data of an environment;
memory;
machine-readable instructions; and
at least one processor circuit to execute the machine-readable instructions to at least:
access the image sensor data;
detect a security event in the environment, the security event associated with motion; and
cause transmission of a first message to cause display of an alert associated with the security event on a mobile phone, the alert including at least a first portion of an image corresponding to the image sensor data, the first message in accordance with a first communication protocol; and
cause transmission of an email message associated with the security event, the email message to cause display of the alert and at least one of the first portion of the image, another portion of the image, or at least a portion of another image corresponding to the security event, the email message in accordance with a second communication protocol, the second communication protocol different than the first communication protocol.
