1. An electronic article surveillance (EAS) enabled item, comprising:
a textile element;
a radio frequency identification (RFID) element; and
an EAS element configured to communicate with an inventory management system, the EAS element comprising:
an antenna subsystem integrated into the textile element; and
EAS electronics, in communication with the antenna subsystem;
wherein the antenna subsystem comprises two dipole antenna elements each extending from the EAS electronics in corresponding opposite directions from a diametric line through the EAS electronics, and wherein the two dipole antenna elements each extend from a corresponding opposite side of the diametric line,
wherein the EAS element comprises an energy harvesting subsystem configured to harvest energy from at least two of heat, light, vibration, magnetic field, or RF energy.
