1. An information handling system, comprising:
a hardware processor to execute code; and
a memory to store the code;
wherein the processor is configured to execute the code to:
receive, for each of a plurality of platforms of a portfolio of platforms, a set of validation items to be validated on that particular platform;
determine that a first set of validation items for a first platform includes a first validation item, wherein the first set of validation items includes a first number of validation items;
determine that a second set of validation items for a second platform includes a second validation item, wherein the second set of validation items includes a second number of validation items, the second number of validation items being less than the first number of validation items;
compare the first validation item with the second validation item to determine if the first and second validation items are duplicate validation items; and
when the first and second validation items are duplicate validation items, modify the first set of validation items to exclude the first validation item, and maintain the second set of validation items to include the second validation item based upon the second number of validation items being less than the first number of validation items.
