1. A method for information handling system manufacture, the method comprising:
deploying a first set of plural information handling systems from a manufacturing location to plural operational end users, each of the first set of plural information handling systems having a main board with a central processing unit and memory selected from plural main board configurations;
tracking main board performance of each of the first set of plural information handling systems with instructions executing on each of the first set of plural information handling systems;
returning at least some of the first set of plural information handling systems to the manufacture location;
disassembling the at least some of the first set of plural information handling systems to separate the main boards;
comparing main board performance of the tracking against a main board benchmark to associate each separated main board with a performance characteristic; and
assembling a second set of plural information handling systems from both new main boards and the separated main boards, the separated main boards selected by reference to the comparing to build the second set of plural information handling systems to have selected of plural performance characteristics.
