1. A method to increase the efficiency of a gas turbine cycle, the method comprising:
directing a stream of compressed air exiting an outlet of a compressor to a combustor;
injecting a stream of fuel into the combustor, wherein a chemical reaction in the combustor of the stream of compressed air and the stream of fuel yields a stream of combustion products;
using a turbine to expand the stream of combustion products to yield an expanded stream of combustion products;
directing the expanded stream of combustion products to a low-pressure turbocharger;
using the low-pressure turbocharger to power a first air blower, wherein the first air blower is configured to accept a first stream of filtered air and to output a first blower gas stream;
directing the first blower gas stream to a secondary air distribution system, wherein an output of the secondary air distribution system is an energized stream of air;
directing the energized stream of air and a stream of filtered air to a primary air distribution system, wherein an output of the primary air distribution system is a stream of compressor supply air; and
directing the stream of compressor supply air to an inlet of the compressor.
