1. A wireless charging system for a road, said wireless charging system comprising:
a wireless communication transceiver embedded within the road, wherein the wireless communication transceiver is configured to communicate with a vehicle traveling on the road;
a wireless power charger embedded within the road, wherein the wireless power charger is configured to transmit energy wirelessly to the vehicle; and
a control center comprising at least one control processor and a memory element, the control center being adapted and configured to execute a software program to control the wireless charging system, the control center being in communication with the wireless communication transceiver and the wireless power charger via a junction box having a switching device and a tuning network device, and wherein the control processor is configured to control the wireless power charger based on data regarding the vehicle obtained from the wireless communication transceiver, and the control center is adapted and configured to command the switching device to power or shut down power to the wireless power charger or to command the tuning network device increase or decrease the voltage of the power supplied to the wireless power charger.
