1. A decorative ornamental apparatus comprising:
(a) an inflatable and deflatable globe comprising a resilient polymer material, the globe including an air opening configured to allow inflation air into an interior of the globe; and
(b) a plug removably received in the air opening to restrict undesired air egress from the interior of the globe, the plug comprising:
(i) an externally threaded or externally ribbed attachment section;
(ii) a flared stopper configured to maintain air pressure in the inflatable globe when the plug is inserted therein;
(iii) a middle section, the middle section being longitudinally longer than wider, and the stopper being located between the attachment section and the middle section; and
(iv) a laterally extending and enclosed through-hole located adjacent an end of the plug, the middle section longitudinally extending between the stopper and the through-hole.
