1. An apparatus for game control via a graphical user interface, the apparatus comprising:
a display screen; and
a processor configured to:
generate and display the graphical user interface on the display screen, wherein the graphical user interface presents at least one user-controllable object, at least one target object and a control object;
enable a user to provide a user input via the control object to control a movement of the at least one user-controllable object within the graphical user interface;
present a boundary indicator representing a boundary of a predetermined area around the at least one user-controllable object on the graphical user interface only while the user is providing the user input via the control object;
detect whether or not the control object is located inside the predetermined area while the boundary indicator is presented on the graphical user interface; and
when it is detected that the control object is located inside the predetermined area while the boundary indicator is presented on the graphical user interface, re-locate the control object outside the predetermined area; and
execute an action on the at least one target object from the at least one user-controllable object when it is detected that the at least one target object lies within the predetermined area.
