1. A method, comprising:
impacting a surface with a golf club head during a golf swing, wherein the golf club head includes a sole with a sole-tape affixed on the sole, and wherein the impact of the surface forms a mark on the sole-tape;
taking an image or a scan of the sole-tape using an electronic device; and
using the electronic device to determine a recommended sole grind based on the image or scan of the sole-tape including the mark.
