1. A terminal, the terminal comprising:
at least one processor,
wherein the at least one processor causes the terminal to:
receive a radio resource control (RRC) message including first information of a plurality of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebooks and second information of a plurality of HARQ processes associated with each of the plurality of HARQ codebooks from a base station;
receive first downlink control information (DCI) including first scheduling information of a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) from the base station;
perform a first reception operation of the first PDSCH based on the first DCI;
receive second DCI including a HARQ indication field indicating a HARQ codebook among the plurality of HARQ codebooks indicated by the first information from the base station;
identify the plurality of HARQ processes associated with the HARQ codebook indicated by the HARQ indication field based on the second information;
generate the HARQ codebook including a first HARQ response bit of the first PDSCH associated with the plurality of HARQ processes; and
transmit uplink control information (UCI) including the HARQ codebook to the base station.
