1. A wireless communications method comprising:
determining a set of routes for the communication of data from a first wireless base station to a destination wireless base station over wireless backhaul communications links, said first wireless base station being an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) donor; and
selecting one or more of the routes of the determined set of routes from the first wireless base station to the destination wireless base station for communicating data to a first user equipment device attached to the destination wireless base station, said selecting one or more of the routes including selecting by the first wireless base station a first route from the first wireless base station to a second wireless base station located between the first wireless base station and the destination wireless base station based on multi-Radio Access Technology (multi-RAT) capability of the second wireless base station.
