5. A base station comprising:
a processor that, when a condition is met, determines a spatial relation of an uplink signal in a component carrier (CC), based on a quasi co-location (QCL) assumption of a specific control resource set in the CC; and
a receiver, coupled to the processor, that receives the uplink signal transmitted according to the spatial relation,
wherein the condition includes that a higher layer parameter for using a default spatial relation is configured, that spatial relation information for the uplink signal is not configured, and that a control resource set in the CC is configured.
