1. A scanner comprising:
a detector array;
a servomotor configured to move a sample relative to the detector array; and
a sensor configured to monitor at least one of a position or a velocity of the sample, wherein the monitored at least one of the position or the velocity of the sample is provided to the servomotor such that the sample is moved according to a target velocity profile;
wherein the detector array is configured to acquire two or more images per image swath of the sample while the sample is in motion; wherein each of the two or more images per image swath are acquired after the sample is moved a predetermined distance; wherein the predetermined distance between the each of the two or more images per image swath are substantially the same, wherein at least two of the two or more images per image swath are acquired at different time internals; and wherein the two or more images per image swath are acquired in at least two different image swaths.
