1. An image processing apparatus comprising:
at least one processor; and
a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, configures the at least one processor to function as:
an acquisition unit configured to acquire an image;
a subject detection unit configured to detect a subject from the image;
a motion amount detection unit configured to detect a motion amount of a first region of the subject and a motion amount of a second region of the subject, the second region being different from the first region; and
an image capturing parameter determination unit configured to determine an image capturing parameter,
wherein the image capturing parameter determination unit refers to the motion amount of the first region and the motion amount of the second region and determines the image capturing parameter so that a blur amount of the first region is less than a first standard and a blur amount of the second region is greater than a second standard, and
wherein execution of the stored instructions further configures the at least one processor to function as a recognition unit configured to recognize a scene where the image is captured, and an estimation unit configured to estimate a moving direction of the second region and a moving range of the second region based on a result of recognition of the scene by the recognition unit and a result of estimation on the second region.
