1. A method for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) information to a base station (BS) by a user equipment, the method comprising:
receiving, from the BS, data through at least one of a first set of downlink subframe(s) on a primary cell (PCell) and a second set of downlink subframe(s) on a secondary cell (SCell), wherein both of the first set of downlink subframe(s) and the second set of downlink subframe(s) are associated with an uplink subframe;
determining a first set of HARQ-ACK information for the PCell and a second set of HARQ-ACK information for the SCell, wherein at least N pieces of HARQ-ACK information of the first set of HARQ-ACK information or the second set of HARQ-ACK information are set to discontinuous transmission (DTX) based on a difference between the number of downlink subframe(s) in the first set of downlink subframe(s) and the number of downlink subframe(s) in the second set of downlink subframe(s);
generating a HARQ-ACK response, responsive to data transmitted from the BS, based on the first and second set of HARQ-ACK information; and
transmitting the HARQ-ACK response to the BS through the uplink subframe.
