1. A system comprising:
a plurality of converter circuits connected to a plurality of photovoltaic panels;
wherein each converter circuit of the plurality of converter circuits comprises:
a converter input comprising:
a first converter input terminal connected to a first photovoltaic terminal of a corresponding photovoltaic panel of the plurality of photovoltaic panels; and
a second converter input terminal connected to:
a second photovoltaic terminal of the corresponding photovoltaic panel,
a casing of the corresponding photovoltaic panel, and
a ground connection via the casing of the corresponding photovoltaic panel; and
a converter output galvanically isolated from the converter input and comprising a first converter output terminal and a second converter output terminal; and
wherein each converter circuit of the plurality of converter circuits is configured to:
convert a first direct current (DC) power at the converter input to a second DC power at the converter output; and operate at a voltage that is, with respect to the ground connection, at least a maximum voltage rating of the corresponding photovoltaic panel times a quantity of the plurality of converter circuits, the maximum voltage rating being between the casing of the corresponding photovoltaic panel and one of the first photovoltaic terminal or the second photovoltaic terminal of the corresponding photovoltaic panel.
