1. A control circuit of a DC/DC converter that boosts an input voltage VIN and generates an output voltage VOUT, the control circuit comprising:
a main comparator structured to compare a feedback voltage corresponding to an output voltage of the DC/DC converter with a reference voltage, and to assert a turn-on signal when the feedback voltage falls below the reference voltage; and
a timer circuit structured to generate a turn-off signal that transitions in level after an ON time that is proportional to (VOUT−VIN)/VOUT has elapsed from assertion of the turn-on signal.
