1. A power tool comprising:
a housing having an elongated body having an outer diameter that is at most approximately 34 mm;
an electric motor disposed within the elongated body of the housing;
a battery receptacle provided at a rear end of the housing configured to receive a removable battery pack to power the electric motor; and
an output spindle driven by the electric motor forward of the elongated body,
wherein the electric motor comprises:
a rotor shaft on which a first motor bearing and a second motor bearing are mounted configured to drive the output spindle;
a stator assembly including a stator core having an aperture extending therethrough, a plurality of stator teeth radially extending outwardly from the stator core, and a plurality of stator windings wound around the plurality of stator teeth;
a stator mount including a main body that is fixedly secured relative to the housing and an elongated cylindrical member projecting axially from the main body at least partially into the aperture of the stator core;
an outer rotor comprising a cylindrical rotor core supporting at least one permanent magnet around an outer surface of the stator core; and
a rotor mount including an outer body arranged to couple to the outer rotor and an inner body mounted on the rotor shaft;
wherein the electric motor is configured to provide a maximum power output of approximately greater than or equal to 470 watts and a maximum output speed of greater than 25,000 rotations-per-minutes (RPM) when powered by the battery pack having a maximum rated voltage of 20V and rated capacity of 2 Amp-hours.
