1. A wearable device, comprising:
a display;
at least one processor;
a biometric sensor configured to generate a biometric sensor data of a user while the user wears the wearable device; and
a microphone,
wherein, while the wearable device is worn by the user, the at least one processor performs operations comprising:
receiving the biometric sensor data;
capturing, using the microphone, an ambient sound of an environment, wherein the biometric sensor data is received and the ambient sound is captured while the wearable device is worn by the user;
determining a sound pressure level (SPL) of the ambient sound;
determining a SPL dose of a personal sound exposure of the user based on the SPL of the ambient sound, wherein the SPL dose comprises a percentage of an accumulated SPL dose or a time remaining value before a threshold shift occurs;
wirelessly transmitting the biometric sensor data to an electronic device belonging to a second party; and
outputting the SPL dose to the user,
wherein the wearable device is at least one of an earphone, a headset having two earphones, a wrist-worn device, or a neck-worn device.
