1. A computer-implemented method for efficiently determining a digital marker indicative of a neurological condition or a mental health condition, comprising:
determining, using one or more processors, a one-dimensional direction of gaze based on one or more oculometric parameters associated with an eye of a user using a video stream, wherein the video stream comprises at least one image of a face of the user;
determining, by performing a deconvolution of a time function of at least the one-dimensional direction of gaze, a gaze response function, wherein the gaze response function is indicative of a response of the eye of the user to an external factor; and
determining one or more digital markers of the user based on the gaze response function, wherein the one or more digital markers are indicative of a neurological condition or a mental health condition of the user.
