1. A system comprising:
a camera; and
a processor in communication with the camera, the processor configured to:
capture at least two images of a scene with the camera;
detect pixels in the at least two images, indicating motion in the scene;
quantify motion in the scene based on the detected pixels;
determine a dominant motion in the scene utilizing said motion quantification, wherein the dominant motion indicates a background in the scene; and
reduce an influence of said dominant motion in the scene, to indicate a location of a gas plume in the scene.
