1. A system for conducting electronic transactions via a computer network, comprising:
a multi-purse transaction system comprising one or more processors, coupled with memory, to:
receive, via a communications interface of the multi-purse transaction system, a request to adjudicate a single claim against an electronic benefits account;
adjudicate determine, responsive to receipt, via the communications interface, of the request to adjudicate the single claim, that, based on one or more policies, the single claim against the electronic benefits account is approved for an amount of expenditures qualifying under the electronic benefits account,
wherein the adjudication is performed in real-time instead of adjudication in a batch process,
wherein adjudications in the batch process temporarily memo-post amounts that cause one or more occurrences of erroneous transactions that exceed current amounts in electronic accounts;
identify, via a configuration of the electronic benefits account maintained by the multi-purse transaction system, a reimbursement policy of the one or more policies of the electronic benefits account specifying a list of account destinations for benefits account reimbursements comprising a user-specified set of electronic identifiers, the user-specified set of electronic identifiers corresponding to a plurality of electronic reimbursement accounts comprising
a first electronic reimbursement account that is maintained remote from the multi-purse transaction system,
a second electronic reimbursement account that is maintained remote from the multi-purse transaction system and different from the first electronic reimbursement account, and
a third electronic reimbursement account that is a checking account configured to receive direct deposits;
select, via application of the reimbursement policy to the single claim and from the list comprising the user-specified set of electronic identifiers, one of the user-specified set of electronic identifiers to use as a destination electronic reimbursement account, each of the plurality of electronic reimbursement accounts configured to allow transactions for one or more expenditures that do not qualify under the electronic benefits account;
cause a credit for the approved amount for the single claim to be applied to the destination electronic reimbursement account; <generate, responsive to the request adjudicated by the multi-purse transaction system and causing the credit to be applied to the destination electronic reimbursement account, a notification relating to the credit to the destination electronic reimbursement account; and
transmit, in real-time responsive to causing the credit to be applied to the destination electronic reimbursement account, via the computer network to a device able to display information relating to the electronic benefits account, a first one or more packets carrying data indicating the notification relating to the credit to the destination electronic reimbursement account selected based on the reimbursement policy from the list comprising the user-specified set of electronic identifiers,
wherein the first one or more packets cause the device to display, via a real-time notification, the indication relating to the credit to the destination electronic reimbursement account to indicate the credit is accessible for subsequent transactions.
