1. An image forming apparatus that is capable of printing an image based on a print job at sheet conveyance speeds of a first conveyance speed and a second conveyance speed, and is capable of printing at a print resolution of a first resolution and at a print resolution of a second resolution higher than the first resolution, the image forming apparatus comprising:
a controller configured to:
receive the print job;
store a setting set by a user, wherein the setting is corresponding to the print resolution that is one of the plurality of print resolutions including the first resolution and the second resolution;
set the second conveyance speed, in a case where a sheet type of a sheet used for printing the received print job is a predetermined sheet type that cannot be conveyed for printing at the first conveyance speed faster than the second conveyance speed;
set the second resolution even though the print resolution specified based on the stored setting set by the user is the first resolution lower than the second resolution, in the case where the sheet type of the sheet used for printing the received print job is the predetermined sheet type;
set a print setting that prioritizes image quality; and
store user's selection of whether to prioritize the image quality or the sheet conveyance speed,
wherein the print resolution and the sheet type are selected by the user, and the sheet conveyance speed is determined based on the sheet type,
wherein in a case where the determined sheet conveyance speed is the second conveyance speed, the controller changes the print resolution to a higher resolution irrespective of the print resolution selected by the user, and
wherein, even though the determined sheet conveyance speed is first conveyance speed, the controller sets the sheet conveyance speed to the second conveyance speed and the print resolution to the second resolution to print the print job in a case where the print setting is set to give priority to the image quality.
