1. A sample observation container comprising:
a base portion;
one or more sidewalls extending from the base portion, the one or more sidewalls forming a sample enclosure having a substantially uniform cross-sectional area with respect to an axis extending perpendicular from the base, and wherein the cross-sectional area of the sample enclosure is configured to be physically adjusted to a new substantially uniform cross-sectional area with respect to an axis extending from the base.
