1. A sacrificial anode device, comprising:
a body defining a cavity that extends partially through the body;
a sacrificial anode couplable to the body, wherein the sacrificial anode surrounds and seals the cavity when coupled to the body; and
a sensor at least partially received within the cavity, the sensor in communication with a pool automation system and designed to transmit a signal to the pool automation system when water is detected inside the cavity.
