1. An operation system comprising:
a terminal; and
a portable electronic device capable of wirelessly communicating with the terminal,
wherein the portable electronic device includes:
a main body;
a movement detection unit that detects a movement of the main body; and
a first processor configured to transmit an operation signal corresponding to the movement detected by the movement detection unit to the terminal,
wherein the terminal includes:
a second processor configured to receive the operation signal from the portable electronic device and control an operation of the terminal according to the received operation signal,
wherein the first processor is further configured to:
set the operation of the terminal to be controlled by the second processor according to the received operation signal; and
assign the movement of the main body that is being detected by the movement detection unit to the set operation of the terminal.
