a first jaw comprising a first top surface, a first bottom surface, a first opening, and a second opening;
a first spacer coupled to the housing, and positioned between the upper surface and the first top surface such that the first jaw is offset from the upper surface of the housing;
a first fastener secured within the housing through the first opening and a second fastener secured within the housing through the second opening, wherein the first fastener and the second fastener are configured such that the first jaw is movable relative to the first fastener and the second fastener;
a second jaw comprising a second top surface, a second bottom surface, and a third opening;
a second spacer coupled to the housing, and positioned between the upper surface and the second top surface such that the second jaw is offset from the upper surface of the housing; and
a third fastener secured within the housing through the third opening, wherein the third fastener is configured such that the second jaw is movable relative to the third fastener;
wherein the skate blade clamping mechanism is configured to move between a clamped position and an unclamped position, wherein, in the clamped position, the skate blade clamping mechanism is configured to secure the skate blade between the first jaw and the second jaw.
