1. A method for aiding a user in breathing during sleep, the method comprising:
receiving, from a first sensor, first data;
receiving, from a second sensor, second data;
analyzing the first data to determine if the user is currently experiencing a first type of apnea event;
analyzing the second data to determine if the user is currently experiencing a second type of apnea event that is different than the first type of apnea event;
in response to determining that the user is currently experiencing the first type of apnea event based on the analyzing the first data, causing a first stimulator to provide electrical stimulation to one or more muscles of the user that are adjacent to an airway of the user to aid in stopping the first type of apnea event, the first stimulator and the first sensor being coupled to a first band that is configured to be worn around a neck of the user; and
in response to determining that the user is currently experiencing the second type of apnea event based on the analyzing the second data, causing a second stimulator to provide the electrical stimulation to a diaphragm of the user to aid in stopping the second type of apnea event, the second stimulator and the second sensor being coupled to a second band that is configured to be worn around a chest or an abdomen of the user.
