1. A method of fabricating a patient-specific buttress for securing fractured bone of a patient, the method comprising:
applying a buttress to a tangible model of a patient anatomy representing a fractured bone to at least one of verify a fit of the buttress to the fractured bone and deform the buttress to confirm a fit of the buttress to the fractured bone, the tangible model comprising an intended realignment of at least two bone fragments of the fractured bone to be achieved when the buttress is secured to the fractured bone.
