1. An apparatus for manipulating tissue within a subject to treat a medical condition, the apparatus comprising:
a first movable assembly coupled to a needle;
a second movable assembly coupled to a suturing component, wherein the first movable assembly and the second movable assembly are configured to move relative to each other;
a force limiting element coupled to the second movable assembly and a proximal portion of the suturing component, wherein the force limiting element is configured to maintain a position of the second movable assembly relative to the first movable assembly; and
an implant configured for deployment within the tissue, the implant comprising one or more anchor members connected to a tensioning element.
