1. A method comprising:
obtaining data from a medical device implanted in a body of a subject, where the medical device is an implantable medical device comprising an aesthetic implant and a plurality of sensors, where the aesthetic implant comprises a shell and a filling within the shell and is a breast implant, a nose implant, a chin implant, a bicep implant, a tricep implant, a buttock implant or a calf implant, and the plurality of sensors comprise at least one sensor within the filling, the at least one sensor within the filling being one of a contact sensor, a pressure sensor, an accelerometer sensor, a temperature sensor, a mechanical stress sensor, a position sensor, a chemical microsensor or a tissue metabolic sensor;
collecting and storing the data in a memory chip configured to collect and store the data, the memory chip located on or within the medical device; and
transferring the data from the memory chip to a location outside the medical device.
