1. A surgical system for generating patient-specific implants comprising:
a flexible template that can be manipulated on a target body region to correspond to a patient-specific implant, and
a customization apparatus comprising a storage portion having one or more implant blanks, an implant customization portion, and an interface configured to receive information from the flexible template, the storage portion and the implant customization portion being disposed within a body of the customization apparatus,
wherein the information is used by the implant customization portion to intraoperatively or preoperatively manipulate the implant blank to a patient-specific implant in a surgical care environment.
