wherein the red colored plant materials, based on a total weight of the nutritional supplement, consist of:
about 10 wt. % of an apple extract,
about 10 wt. % of a pomegranate extract,
about 1.85 wt. % of a tomato powder, and
about 2.45 wt. % of a beet root powder,
wherein the green colored plant materials, based on a total weight of the nutritional supplement, consist of:
about 6.38 wt. % of an olive extract,
about 7.5 wt. % of a rosemary extract,
about 7.5 wt. % of a green coffee bean extract, and
about 2.5 wt. % of a kale powder,
wherein the orange-yellow colored plant materials, based on a total weight of the nutritional supplement, consist of:
about 10 wt. % of an onion extract,
about 10 wt. % of a ginger extract,
about 2.5 wt. % of a grapefruit extract, and
about 2.45 wt. % of a carrot powder,
wherein the purple-blue colored plant materials, based on a total weight of the nutritional supplement, consist of:
about 15.75 wt. % of a grape extract,
about 2.5 wt. % of a blueberry extract,
about 2.43 wt. % of a black currant powder, and
about 2.43 wt. % of an elderberry powder;
about 3.19 wt. % of maltodextrin;
about 0.31 wt. % of corn starch;
about 0.25 wt. % of slica; and
about 0.03 wt. % of sunflower lecithin;
wherein the nutritionally acceptable carrier is present in an amount to balance the nutritional supplement to 100 wt. %;
wherein the plant materials and/or polyphenols contained therein, when tested in vitro, have at least one of the following effects:
(a) increase ATP levels in RAW 264.1 mouse macrophages at a dosage of 1 μg/mL,
(b) increase glucose uptake into mouse C2C12 muscle cells at a dosage of 10 μg/mL, and
(c) increase mitochondrial biogenesis in Neuro-2a cells at a dosage of 10 μg/mL.
