6 Claims

1. An herbicidal composition having systemic phytotoxic effects, comprising:

a. an active herbicidal compound consisting of thymyloxyacetic acid or methyl thymyloxyacetate, present in 0.5% to 5% by weight, based on the total weight of the herbicidal composition; and

b. a carrier comprising water and potassium hydroxide, wherein the potassium hydroxide aids in solvation of the active herbicidal compound and is present in a 1:1 molar ratio with the active herbicidal compound.
