1. A method of operating a wireless access node to serve wireless User Equipment (UE) over radio frequency bands, the method comprising:
radio circuitry wirelessly receiving signaling from the wireless UE indicating received signal strengths and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) layers for the radio frequency bands;
the processing circuitry determining UE centrality angles of the wireless UE for the frequency bands;
processing circuitry selecting one of the radio frequency bands based on the received signal strengths, the MIMO layers, and the UE centrality angles of the wireless UE for the frequency bands; and
the radio circuitry wirelessly exchanging user data with the wireless UE over the selected one of the frequency bands.
