1. A computing device, comprising:
a video capture device; and
a content control module implemented at least partially in hardware and configured to:
receive video content captured by the video capture device in real time as part of a video conference between the computing device and two or more participant devices;
segment the video content into two or more segments that represent different spatial regions of the video content;
generate a first video stream including a first set of segments of the two or more segments;
generate a second video stream including a second set of segments of the two or more segments, the second set of segments including at least one segment different from the first set of segments; and
communicate the first video stream to a first subset of participant devices included in the video conference and the second video stream to a second subset of participant devices included in the video conference, the first subset including at least one participant device not included in the second subset.
