1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
determining, by a device associated with a user, a first scheduled event based on electronic calendar data associated with the user;
determining, by the device, an activation time of an alarm;
determining, by the device, an activation type of the alarm, wherein the activation type of the alarm is an audible notification;
predicting that the activation type of the alarm will result in an interruption to the user; and
changing the activation type of the alarm from the audible notification to a tactile notification.
