8. A method implemented at least partly by a system, the method comprising:
storing an association between a first address associated with a first instance of a network function and a second address associated with the system; and
storing an association between a third address associated with a second instance of the network function and a fourth address associated with the system;
receiving a first request from the first instance of the network function;
identifying the first address from the first request;
determining that the first address is associated with the second address;
sending, to the first instance of the network function, a response to the first request, the response to the first request specifying the second address;
receiving a second request from the second instance of the network function;
identifying the third address from the second request;
determining that the third address is associated with the fourth address; and
sending, to the second instance of the network function, a response to the second request, the response to the second request specifying the fourth address.
