1. A system comprising:
(a) a message constructor unit, configured to construct a Motorized Electric Shades control message indicating a user command intended to be performed by a Motorized Electric Shades Unit;
wherein construction of said Motorized Electric Shades control message comprises insertion of a Message-Identifier into said Motorized Electric Shades control message;
(b) one or more transmitters, configured to transmit (i) a first copy of said Motorized Electric Shades control message via an HTTPS transmission in which traffic passes through the Internet, and also (ii) a second copy of said Motorized Electric Shades control message via a local Bluetooth communication link in which traffic does not pass through the Internet;
wherein the first copy of said Motorized Electric Shades control message which is transmitted via HTTPS, and the second copy of said Motorized Electric Shades control message which is transmitted via the local Bluetooth communication link, have same said Message-Identifier;
wherein Bluetooth transmission of the second copy of the Motorized Electric Shades control message is performed in a time-slot that is at least partially overlapping with a time slot of HTTPS transmission of the first copy of the Motorized Electric Shades control message.
