1. A method for echo cancellation in a communication network, the method comprising:
estimating an echo anticipated to occur within the communication network for a first signal;
generating a cancellation for the echo; and
applying the cancellation to a reflection of the first signal, in an analog domain of the communication network, to generate an analog residual signal;
converting the analog residual signal to a digital residual signal; and
combining a digital cancelation signal with the digital residual signal to at least partially cancel residual reflection included with the digital residual signal.
