1. A system, comprising: an ultrasound device comprising: a transmit-receive switch,
wherein the transmit-receive switch comprises:
a first N-type Field-Effect Transistor (NFET) having a gate, a drain and a source;
a second NFET having a gate, a drain and a source wherein the drain of the second NFET is directly coupled to the drain of the first NFET;
a first switch having a first terminal and a second terminal wherein the first terminal is directly coupled to the source of the first NFET and the second terminal is directly coupled to ground;
a second switch having a first terminal and a second terminal wherein the first terminal is directly coupled to the source of the first NFET and the second terminal is directly coupled to a receive terminal; and
a receiver front-end circuit, in which the receive terminal directly connects the transmit-receive switch to the receiver front-end circuitry.
