1. A method comprising:
analyzing, by a computing device, location data associated with a location of the computing device to determine that a first image or video captured using a messaging application on the computing device is captured near a venue or event;
determining, by the computing device using a machine learning model for object detection, that the first image or video lacks a specific type of object;
presenting, by the computing device, interactive features to incentivize capture of an image of the specific type of object associated with the venue or event;
receiving, by the computing device, a second image or video in response to the presented interactive features; and
sending, by the computing device, the second image or video to a computing system to update the machine learning model for object detection.
